The North Shore Bus Company operated in Queens until 1947. The routes that it served were taken over by the NYC Transit Authority. Some of these lines still exist - like the Q44, and the Q46 (which was known as the Q44A until 1990). I’m getting ready to launch my new blog, Two Fare Zone which strives to take you on a visual and cultural journey through each of the bus routes that cut through Queens.
Hello! My name is Bonnie. Welcome to my virtual scrapbook! Also, follow my photo blog: The Candid City!
